Today's Lesson: Learning about
"Front Post Double Crochet Stitches"
What You need For Lesson Portion:
Crochet Hook: H/ 5.00MM
Yarn: Worsted Weight (4) 2 colors
Yarn Needle
Scissors
Materials:
Crochet Hook: H/ 5.00MM
Yarn: Worsted Weight (4) 2 colors (C1, C2)
Yarn Needle
Scissors
Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (slst)
Double Crochet (dc)
Front Post Double Crochet (FPDC)
Back Loop Only (BLO)
Change To (chgto)
Size: 4 inches across
Notes:
Rounds are joined with a slst to the top of the Ch3.
When changing colors, ch3 after the color change.
Pattern:
R: 1 - With C1, ch4, (1st 3 chs count as a dc)
11 dc in the 4th ch from the hook,
join in a circle, ch 3 (12dc)
R: 2 - 1 dc in the same dc as the ch3,
2 dc in each dc around, join, ch 3 (24dc)
R: 3 - 1 dc in the same dc as the ch3,
*1 dc in the next dc, 2 dc in the next dc*
Repeat From * to * around, join, ch 3 (36dc)
R: 4 - Working in the BLO, 1 dc in each dc around,
join ( 36dc)
R: 5 - Chgto C2, ( leave C1 attached) ch 3
*1 FPDC in the next dc, dc in the next dc*
Repeat From * to * Around, join,
(18 FPDC, 18DC = 36 sts)
R: 6 - Chgto C1, ( leave C2 attached) ch 3
*1 FPDC in the next FPDC, dc in the next dc*Repeat From * to * Around, join,
(18 FPDC, 18DC = 36 sts)
R: 7 - Chgto C2, cut off C1) ch1
1 sc in each st around, join to 1st ch1,
Tie off ans weave in your ends.
