This fun beanie can be for the guys and the girls.
And although, it is designed to look like a Shamrock,
 it can also look like a flower by just changing the 
colors you stitch it up in.


This Style is stitched up in The Colorado Flag Colors.
So There are Lot's of possibilities.

Skill: Easy to moderate
 
Materials:
Crochet Hook – I/ 5.5MM
Yarn – Med (4) C1 - 3 oz.  Light Green, C2 – 1 oz. Dark Green
            I used Hobby Lobby I Love This yarn
Yarn Needle
 
Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (sl st)
Single Crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Stitch (st)
Skip (sk)
Change (Chg)
 
Special St – Cluster Stitch (clst)
*Yarn over, Insert hook through Stitch and draw up a loop,
yarn over, pull loop through the 1st 2 loops*
Repeat From * to * 2 more times. You will have 4 loops on Your hook.
Yarn over and pull the loop through all 4 loops
 
Size: Youth to Adult (20 to 22 inches)
 
Notes:
Chain 3 at beginning of rows counts as double Crochet.
Rounds are joined with a Slip Stitch.
 
R: 1 - With C1, ch 5 join in a circle, ch3, 
9 dc in the 3rd chain from the hook,
 Join with a slst, ch3  (10dc)
 


R: 2 - 1 dc in the same st as ch3, 
2 dc in each dc, join, ch3 (20dc)
 


R: 3 - 1 dc in the same st as ch3, 
*2 dc in the first st, 1 dc in the next dc*
Repeat From * to * around, join, Ch3 (30dc)
 


R: 4 - 1 dc in the same st as ch3,
 *2 dc in the first st, 1 dc in each of the next 2 dcs*
Repeat From * to * around, join, ch3 (40dc)
 


R: 5 -  1 dc in the same st as ch3, 
*2 dc in the first st, 1 dc in each of the next 3 dcs*
Repeat From * to * around 10 times, join, ch3 (50dc)



R: 6 - 1 dc in the same st as ch3, 
*2 dc in the first st, 1 dc in each of the next 4 dcs*
Repeat From * to * 10 times, join, ch3 (60dc)
 


 
R: 7 – 1 dc in each dc around, join,ch3 (60dc)



R: 8 - Chg to C2 leaving C1 attached, Ch3, 
1 dc in the same st as the ch3,
*Sk the next dc, 2 dc in the next dc*, 
Repeat From * to * around, join,
slst in the next dc, slst in between the next 2 dc, (60dc)


 
R: 9 –Chg to C1 leaving C2 attached, 
ch1, 1 sc in the same st as ch1,
*2 sc sts in between the next 2 dc* 
Repeat From * to *around, join. (60sc)
 


R: 10 - Chg to C2 leaving C1 attached, Ch3,
 1 dc in the same st as the ch3,
*2 dc in the between the next 2 sc*, 
Repeat From * to * around, join. (60dc)
 
R: 11– Repeat R: 9
 
R: 12 – Repeat R: 8
 
R: 13 – Repeat R: 9, Tie off C2
 


R: 14 – With C1, Ch3, 1 dc in each sc, join, ch3 (60dc)
 
R: 15 –  1dc in each dc, join, ch3 (60dc)
 


R: 16 – 1 dc in the 1st 25 dc, chg to C2 leaving C1 attached,
 1 cl st in the next dc, Sk the next 3 dc, 1 cl st in the next st,
Chg to C1 leaving C2 attached, 1 dc in the next 30 dc, join, ch3
 


R: 17 -  1 dc in the 1st 25 dc, chg to C2 leaving C1 attached,
  cl st , ch3, cl st in the sp between the 2 cl sts of previous row,
Chg to C1 leaving C2 attached, 1 dc in the next 30 dc, join, ch3
Tie of C2 leaving a 9 10 inch tail of yarn for the clover stem.
 


R: 18 – 1 dc in the 1st 25 dc, 1 dc in the top of the 1st cl st,
3 dc in between the 2 cl st, 1 dc in the next cl st,
1 dc in the next 30 dc, join. Tie off C1.
 


R: 19 – Chg to C2, ch1, 1 sc in each dc, join, tie off, Weave in your ends.
Use the 12 inch tail of yarn to Embroider on a stem for your Clover.
