Dark Silly Monster
These Monsters are so silly And Cute in any
colors of yarn you chose. It's a great stash
buster for just about any size yarns.
All Stitched In Different Size Yarn
Tiny - Light (3)
Small - Med (4)
Medium - Chunky (5)
Large - Super Bulky (6)
I used the hook recommended
on each yarn label.
Today we are making the Medium
- Chunky (5) Monster.
I used the Lionbrand Glow in The dark yarn
in Green - Glow Warm and Purple.
The yarn is chenille Style yarn
I purchased the yarn from Michaels.
The yarn is 100% polyester and each skein
has 1.75 ounces, which is 32 yards.
I tested the yarn
to see if it actually glowed in the dark.
It did work, but not as bright as I expected.
Get in your yarn stash and stitch up a bunch,
and give them out for Halloween fun!
Decorate your house or just share them
with your friends. Having a party, us them
as party favors or prizes.
Everyone will love them because they are so
silly and You will love making them

Glow In The Dark Silly Monsters Crochet Pattern

Skill: Easy
Materials:
Crochet Hook - N/ 9 mm.
Yarn - Bulky (6) Lionbrand Glow Chenille
C1 - Glow Warm 1.75 oz., C2 - Purple 1.75 oz.
Small Amount of Black Med (4) For face
Yarn needle
Stuffing - About a hand full
Extras - Safety eyes, fun buttons, ect.
Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (slst)
Single Crochet (sc)
Change to (chgto)
Size: 7.5 X 8 inches
Notes:
Ch1 does not count as a st
Pattern
Make 2 - A Front And A Back
R: 1 - With C1, Ch 6, sc in the 2nd ch from the hook,
I sc in each ch across, turn, ch 1 (5sc)
Turn, ch 1 (7sc)
R: 4 - R: 6 - Repeat R: 3
R: 7 - Chgto C2, 2 sc in the 1st sc, 1 sc in the next 5 sc, 2 sc in the last sc,
Turn, ch 1 (9sc)
R: 9 - R: 12 - Repeat R: 8
Repeat R: 1 - R: 13 - Do Not tie off
Right sides facing out,
Stitch them together to R: 7
**Ch 7, sc in the 2nd ch from the hook,
Slst in the next 4 chs** (1st arm made)
*Ch 6, sc in the 2nd ch from the hook,
slst in the last 6 chs*
Repeat from * to *, slst in the same st,
(antenna made)
Sc around to R: 7,
Repeat from ** To ** for the other arm,
Sc to the bottom edge,
Add Safety eyes if using those,
And Stuff the Monster,
*Ch 6, dc in the 2nd ch from the hook,
Slst in the last 6 chs*
Repeat from * to *, slst in the same st,
Add more stuffing if needed,
Sc the rest of the bottom, Join to the 1st sc,
Tie off weave in the ends.
With needle and Black yarn, add a smile.
And any eyes and details you want.
