Scrap Happy Monday Came Early
 This Month!



I am super excited about today's crochet pattern.
 I love how this bucket hat stitched up
 and I love all the heart squares. 
I just could not wait to stitch one up with you
 and for my sister.

Me And Gina
I will get a picture of her
 in the Hat real soon.

I made one for Me and One for my sister, Gina.
I hope she loves it s much as I do.
You will need to stitch up 5 of the
 Accidental Heart squares.
They 5.5 inch Squares and work perfect
 for this fun hat.


With just 5 of the 5.5 inch squares
 and a small amount of left over yarn,
 you can make one of these bucket hats, too.
I Love them so much.
I Love The Heart Squares so much!


Make sure you make one for you, and one for
 your sister, or a friend you love like a sister.
Sisters are the best, best friends.

Sister Love Bucket Hat Crochet Pattern 

Please Add This Crochet Pattern To Your Raverly Favorites

Skill: Easy

Materials:
Crochet hook - H / 5 mm
Yarn - Medium (4) Acrylic - 3 .5 total
              assorted colors from your stash
Yarn Needle

Stitches: 
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (slst)
Single Crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Skip (sk)
Space (sp)

Size: 
Square  - 5.5 inches
Hat -loosely fit 22 - 24 inch head

Notes:
Rounds are joined to the ch3 with a slst
Ch3 Counts as a dc
Ch3 after the color change

Pattern:

Top of the Hat 

Make 5 of the 5.5 inch squares, 
To Form The top portion of the hat

Accidental Heart Squares Pattern:

R: 1 - With C1, Ch 5, form into a circle,

ch3, 2 dc, ch 2 in the circle, * 3dc, ch2* 
Repeat From * to * 2 more times,
Join to ch 3, slst to the ch2 sp, ch3
 (4 sets of 3dc, ch2)

R: 2 - 2 dc, ch2, 3dc in the 1st ch2 sp, ch2

*3dc, ch2, 3dc in the next ch 2 sp*


 Chgto 2nd color, ch2, and Repeat From * to * 2 more times,
Join to ch 3, slst to the ch2 sp, ch3
(2 sets of 3dc, ch2, 3dc 1st color, 2 sets in 2nd color)


 
R: 3 - Ch3, 2 dc, ch2, 3 dc in the 1st ch2 sp, ch2
3dc, ch2, in the next ch 2 sp, 
*3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc in the next ch2 sp, 3dc, ch2,  in the next ch 2 sp*
Repeat From * to * 2 more times,
Join to ch 3, slst to the ch2 sp, ch3
 (4 sets of 3dc, ch2, 3dc, and 3dc, ch2)

 
R: 4 - Ch3, 2 dc, Ch1, 3dc in the next ch2 sp, ch1
3dc, ch1  in the next 2 ch 2 sps,
* 3 dc, ch 1 in the next ch2 sp, 3dc, ch1,  in the next 2 ch 2 sps*
Repeat From * to * 2 more times, 
Join to ch 3, slst to the ch1 sp, ch1
(4 sets of 3dc, ch1, 3dc, and 3dc, ch2, 3 dc, ch1)


R: 5 – Chgto 1st color, or color of choice, Ch1,
Sc, Ch1, Sc in the 1st ch1 sp, sc in each dc, 1 sc in each ch1 sps
* Sc, Ch1, Sc in the next ch1 sp, sc in each dc, 1 sc in each ch1 sps*
Repeat From * to * 2 more times,
Join to the 1st sc, tie off, Weave in the ends.


Stitch them together as shown
With right sides facing out,

Sc in the out side loops of each side.



Stitch 4 Squares together



To Form a Tube


Stitch the four edges together of the last square on top.
again, Sc in the out side loops of each side.

This Forms the top portion of the hat.
Turn hat right side out.

Hat Brim: 

R: 1 - Join yarn to square corner edge, ch3
dc around the bottom edge of the hat portion,
 placing a dc in each sc, 
and one dc in the section between the squares.
Join to the ch3 with a slst, ch3


R: 2 - 1 dc in each dc around,
 join to the ch3 with a slst, ch 3

R: 3 - 1 dc in the 1st 6 dc, 
*2 dc in the next dc, 1 dc in the next 7 dc*
Repeat From * to * around, 
join to the ch3 with a slst, ch1


R: 4 - sc in each sc around, join to the 1st sc, 
tie off weave in your ends.

 wonderful and fun Bucket Hat.


I love it so much!
Bucket hats are super popular right now and they 
are so fun to make, as well as, to wear.
You can make them with Cotton or Acrylic yarns. 
Cotton for Summer, Acrylic for cooler Weather.

We used basic stitches, so they are so easy to make.
Use up your yarn stash and no two hats will be the same.
Any colors or combination of colors.
They also stitch up super fast.

Add Buttons, Flowers or appliques for stylish touch, 
and you are ready to go in style!

Yarn – Med (4) Acrylic – 3.5 oz. – Yarn Scraps From Your Yarn Stash
Yarn Needle
 
Stitches:
Chan (ch)
Slip Stitch (Slst)
Single crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Back Loop Only (BLO)
 
Size: Fits 22 – 24 inches head
To adjust size go up or down a hook size
 
Notes:
Ch3 counts as a dc
Ch1 Does not count as a st
DC Rounds are joined to the ch3 with a slst
SC Rounds are joined to 1st sc with a slst
Color / stripes are not indicated in the pattern, you choose.
 
Pattern:
 
R: 1 – Ch5, join in a circle, ch 3,
9 dc in the circle, join, ch 3 (10dc)


R: 2 – dc in the same st as the ch3,
2 dc in each dc around, join, ch 3 (20 dc)


R: 3 - dc in the same st as the ch3,
2 dc in each dc around, join, ch 3 (40 dc)


R: 4 – 1 dc in the next 2 dc,
*2 dc in the next dc, 1 dc in the next 3 dc*
Repeat From * to * around, join, ch3 (50 dc)


R; 5 - 1 dc in the next 3 dc,
*2 dc in the next dc, 1 dc in the next 4 dc*
Repeat From * to * around, join, ch3 (60 dc)


R: 6 – BLO, 1 dc in each dc around, join, ch 3 (60 dc)


R: 7 - 1 dc in each dc around, join, ch 3 (60 dc)


R: 8 – R: 12 – Repeat R: 7
ch1 after R: 12

For longer sides on your hat, add a few more Rows of R: 7
 
R: 13 – 1 sc in each dc around, join, ch 1 (60 sc)



 
R: 14 – 1 sc in each sc around, join, ch 1 (60 sc)
 
R: 15 - 1 sc in each sc around, join, ch 3 (60 sc)


R; 16 -1 dc in the next sc,
*2 dc in the next sc, 1 dc in the next 2 sc*
Repeat From * to * around, join, ch 3 (80 dc)

R: 17 – 1 dc in each dc, join, ch 1 (80 dc)



R: 18 – 1 sc in each dc, join, ch 1 (80sc)
 
R: 19 – 1 sc in each sc, join,
 tie off and weave in your ends.


Add Your embellishment, Pop on your head and go!
