Autumn Texture Dog Bandanna Crochet Pattern | Posh Pooch Designs

Autumn Texture Dog Bandanna
Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach of
 Posh Pooch Designs
This Bandanna is a little thicker
for a little added warmth and still cute for your pooch to wear.
The neck band is thicker, then regular bandannas,
so it is like a Cowl.
The bandanna has a fun texture stitch.
They can wear this over a sweater
for added warmth or wear it by itself
to keep the cold off their neck.

See The Video Tutorial on my Youtube Channel at this LINK

The Crochet Pattern is designed in 2 sizes.
XS and S for dogs with
neck measurements 8-12 inches.
The pattern can be made larger by
simply adding more chains to the neck band.

I found all the pumpkin and leaf buttons at
Hobby Lobby in the Scrap booking section.
See the nice thick band.
It is like a cowl and a bandanna in one!

Continue to Repeat R : 5 and R : 6 – You will decrease 2 sts each row.
Alternating rows until you have decreased down to 2 sts.
Hdc the last 2 sts together and tie off.
Weave In your ends.

Option 1:
Sew on a button on one end of the neck back, ease it through on of the dc openings.
Sew on your decorative buttons.

Option 2 - Put the ends of the neck band together and sew them closed.
Then no button is needed.

Once I determine the fit,
I sew the button through both sides of the bandanna.
Then I can slip the bandanna off and on a lot easier
then buttoning the band each time.
Especially if we are in a hurry to get outside.
