Raccoon Earflap Hat Crochet Pattern | Posh Pooch Designs

Raccoon Earflap Hat Crochet Pattern
 By Sara Sach of

My Son asked me to make
him a Raccoon Hat.
I forgot I had designed this hat for him,
until we started to have a problem with
Raccoons getting in our trash.

It was as though they new when trash day was,
Because I never saw them, except on Trash day!
These are the biggest, fattest,
most well fed Raccoons I had ever seen.

This is the picture I used for my inspiration.

I know this Raccoon looks ornery,
But I think it looks adorable.
I Love how it is holding it's hands.
As though they are planning for trash day!

Okay, Now for the Crochet Pattern

As I look at these pictures.
I got a little laugh at Maximo.
My pooch, Maximon looks like a Statue.
He did not move at all.
He loves my son, and always
tries to stay in his lap.
