Materials:
Crochet Hook – H/ 5.00MM
Yarn- Any
Worsted Weight (4) Yarn- Acrylic or Cotton
Yarn Needle
Tootsie pops
– Cherry are my Favorite
Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Slip Stitch (slst)
Double Crochet
(dc)
Size: 2.5 inches - Fits Standard Size Tootsie
pop or Blow Pop
Center of Flower – Make 2
R: 1 - Ch 4,
1st 3 chs count as a dc, 9 dc in the 4th ch from the
hook,
Join to top
of ch 3 with a slst, ch3 (10dc)
R: 2 - *1 dc
in the next dc, 2 dc in next dc* Repeat From * to * around,
1 dc in the last dc, join to top of ch 3 with a slst,
1 dc in the last dc, join to top of ch 3 with a slst,
Tie off
weave in your ends. (14 dc)
Petals:
We will "sewing" the centers together at the same time as crocheting the petals.
Place the 2 centers together, right sides out, line up the dc sts around.
We will be stitching through the front and back sts of the center.
Join yarn to 1st set of dc, *sc in the next dc, ch2, 3dc in the next dc, ch2*
Repeat From * to * 4 more times,
Only stitching through the front of the Flower center,
sc in the next dc, ch2, 3dc in the next dc, ch2,
sc in the next dc, ch2, 3dc in the next dc,
sc in the next dc, ch2, 3dc in the next dc, ch2,
sc in the next dc, ch2, 3dc in the next dc,
(This will leave an opening to slide the lolly pop in)
join with a sl st to the 1st sc, tie off, weave in your ends.
