This is fun bag. You can use any of the Ruffle yarns
to make this Purse along with your favorite worsted
weight yarn. The Pattern has options for the
round handles or a crochet handles.
It measures about 13 X 13 inches,
But you can make it as long as you want.

Pattern
:
R
: 1 - With the WW yarn, ch 31, 2 hdc in
the 2nd ch from the hook,
1 hdc in the next 28 chs, 2 hdc in the last
ch,....Turn, working down
the opposite side of the ch, 2 hdc in the 1st ch, 1
hdc in the next 28 chs,
2 hdc in the last ch, join with a sl st, ch 2
( this
forms the base of the handbag)

: 2 - 1 dc in each hdc around, join, ch 2
R
: 3 - Repeat R : 2
R
: 4 - **Special Technique - (3L Dc)
Push hook through the 1 st dc, loop on 3 loops
of the lace yarn,
WW
Yarn over, pull through the 3 lace loops and the dc st
yo,
pull through both ww loops.
Basically,
you are stitching dcs and adding 3 loops from the lace yarn in each dc.
Continue
this technique all the way around the bag. join, ch 2.

: 20 - 1 sc in each space between each dc, join, ch 1

: 21 - 1 sc in each sc around, join, ch 1

: 22 - 1 sc in each st around, join. tie off if you are going to use the ring
handles.
Ch 1 if you are going to use
crochet handles.

Count
to the center of the bag on the front, sc through the handles
and the top of
the bag, for 8 sc, the sc around only the handle,
till you reach the opposite
side of the handle,
join with a sl st and tie off securely.
Repeat on the back side of the bag as well, for the 2nd Handle.
Option 2 - Crocheted
Handles –
R 23 : Forming the handles, 1 sc in the next 4
sc, ch 25, count back 4 sts from the opposite side, and attach ch with a sl st,
1 sc in the next 9 sts, then ch 25 , again counting back 4 from the end and
attach ch, 1 sc in the last 4 sc, join ch 1

: 24 - 1 sc in each sc and in each ch around top of bag. join, ch 1
R
: 25 - 1 sc in each sc, join, ch1
R
: 26 - 1 sc in each sc, join and tie off.
Lace Ruffle Flower :
R : 1 - With WW yarn, Ch 11, 1 sc in the 2nd ch
from hook and in the next 9 chs, ch1 turn,
R : 2 - Use
the same technique as in R : 4 of the bag, only adding 5 loops of the LY to
each sc.
Join the to ends together to form a circle
and gather tightly, and close the hole,
Leaving a tail of yarn to attach it to the
front of the bag.
Now
place in the center of the front of the bag and sew in place.
