Seed Stitch Headband Ear Warmer Free Knitting pattern | Posh Pooch Designs

Seed Stitch Headband Ear Warmer.
I knitted the Variegated One First. and really love it.
I added a little knitted bow with a fun button.
But when I began takings pictures,
you could not see the the texture of the stitches.

I had some of  the Wool Ease - Fisherman yarn left
and made another one, and used wooden buttons.

I love them both.
I think the yarn for the variegated headband is also wool Ease,
but can not find the yarn label.
I purchased some wool Ease a few months back,
 and bought several different colors.
I put them all in a plastic tub together.
I searched the tub and my yarn room,
but can not find the lost label.

Ok For the pattern.

Featured Designer - Amanda Evanson of MNE Craft

I haven't Featured a Designer in a While.
So, I thought it would be a good goal for 2015,
To try to feature a Designer once or twice a month.
Amanda Evanson
is our first featured designer of the year.

Who is Amanda?
"I'm Amanda and I've been addicted to crochet
 for about 5 years now!
I first learned to crochet when I was 10
 but didn't become to interested
in it until 17. Since then, I just haven't
stopped and now offer tons of
patterns free on my blog or for
sale in my Ravelry store! "

Tell us about your Blog:
"I first started my blog for no reason other
than I occasionally liked to blog.
After the designer at Stitched11 saw
me sharing one I'd just posted,
she shared tons of info about blogging
with me. From there I began
talking to other crochet bloggers and began
 really committing to turning
my hobby blog into a professional one.
I've come a long ways from
then and can't wait to see where I end up! "

Amanda is well known for her Graph designs,
and the Front Post beanies.
I recently stitched one up -
I tried to turn my head so you could see the paw print.

This is a fun crochet pattern.
The Pattern is written wonderfully with
 easy to understand directions.
and it fits perfectly.
I did add 2 extra rows on the hat rim because
I wanted to add more colors.
I used Red heart Super saver Yarns.
Amanda has several other graph hats, as well.
The Front post hat for graphs is a genius idea.
It works up fast and is very stretchy for a good fit.
Here is a Designer Showcase  by Kim Guzman,
with all her Graph Hats.

By the time you read this
she will probably have added more!

Is Time Valuable? | Posh Pooch Designs

It is Free, and Given Freely,
But It is not, At No Cost.

TIME

A lady I met at the local Park,
asked me to make a dog Sweater.
A fun gift for her friend's Dog.
She told me exactly what colors of yarn
 she wanted, as well as,
the style of dog sweater.
 One with lots of Ruffles
and a big bow on the back..

This is my Rosie in her Red Ruffle Sweater Dress.

Here in Colorado, Winters are cold,
And Furbabies do need sweaters

Then she asked, " How much will it cost"?
I Told her the price.
The Dog Sweater will be $22.99
 for the size you need."

"What, WOW, I can buy the yarn at
Hobby Hobby for a lot less.!"
 She said, rather loudly.

"Yes, You can, but all you will
have is some pretty yarn."
I kindly replied.
If you want me to make it into a sweater,
it will cost you $22.99.
She said, "Ill get back to you."

What it costs ME to make a Dog Sweater:

Yarn -
for a Small dog Sweater it cost between $7-$10, depending on yarns.
Couple more $$ if I need a hook in the right size.
plus gas to go to the Store

Time-
It takes me 3 hours  to make a small dog Sweater.
More if there are lots of details and/or ruffles.
So, if I am paid  Minimum Wage, it would be $8.00 an hour.
$24.00 in time.

Fees-
If The Sweater is ordered from one of my Online shops:
There is Shop fees and Paypal fees.

When you Purchase a Dog Sweater,
hat, or any item from me,
you will not only get a one of a kind,
 Custom made,
item for your pooch or cat,
You also get
my time, talent and lot of love.

Time is Valuable.
It can not be returned or exchanged.
