Each Step Has A Video Tutorial Released 

On Those Dates at 11:30 Am MT

 This Cute Little Angel Doll Measures about 12 inches tall.

The thought was for her to fit inside a stocking or gift bag.

And be just big enough to cuddle and love on for any size

 child and adult. 

She is designed using all Med (4) Acrylic yarns because

 I wanted her to be easy to take along and wash.

And to be made with easy to find yarns, you might

 already have in your yarn stash.

Materials:
Crochet Hook – H / 5.00
Yarn – C1 – Med (4) Acrylic - Skin tone - 1 oz.
            C2 - Med (4) Acrylic - White Sparkle – 2 oz.
            C3 / C4 – Skirt Accent Color -Small Amount of red and green
            C5 – Med (4) Acrylic - hair color 1 oz.
             Small Amount of brown, red for face
Yarn Needle
Stuffing – Polyfiberfil
Stitch markers
 
Stitches:
Chain (ch)
Singe Crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Skip (sk)
Space (sp)
 
Size: 12 inches
 
Notes:
Doll Body, arms and legs are stitched in the round,
Do Not join rounds.
 
Pattern: Step 1- The Doll Head and Body

Step 1 Video - LINK 

R: 1 – With C1, ch 2, 4 sc in the 2^nd ch from the hook (4sc)
 place a Stitch Marker in the last st of each row, to mark your rows.

R: 2 – 2 sc in each sc (8sc)
 
R: 3 – 2 sc in each sc (16sc)
 

Weave in your beginning tail of yarn at this point.

R: 4 -*1 sc in the next sc, 2 sc in the next sc*
Repeat From * to * around, (24 sc)
 
R: 5 – 1 sc in each sc (24 sc)
 

R: 6 – R: 11 – Repeat R: 5
 

R: 12 – Chgto C2, -*1 sc in the next sc, 2 sc in the next sc*
Repeat From * to * around, (36sc)
 

R: 13 - *1 sc in the next 2 sc, 2 sc in the next sc*
Repeat From * to * around (48sc)
 

R: 14 – 1 sc in each sc (48sc)
 

R: 15 – R: 24 – Repeat R: 14
 

R: 25 – Chgto to C3, leave C2 attached,

Repeat R: 14
 
R: 26 – Chgto to C2, tie off C3,

Repeat R: 14
 
R: 27 - Chgto to C4, leave C2 attached,

Repeat R: 14
 
R: 28 - Chgto to C2, tie off C4,

 Repeat R: 14
 
Tie off weave in your ends.

Make 4 - 2 arms, 2 legs
R: 1 – With C1, ch 2, 5 sc in the 2^nd ch from the hook (5sc)
 
R: 2 – 2 sc in each sc (10sc)
 
R: 3 – 1 sc in each sc (10sc)
 Weave in the beginning tail of yarn.

R: 4 – R: 5 – Repeat R: 3
 

R: 6– Chgto To C2, Repeat R : 3
 
R: 7 – R: 13 – Repeat R: 6
Tie off leaving a 12 inch tail of yarn.
Stuff and slst closed, leave the remainder of the
 yarn tail for sewing onto the angel
 
Repeat R: 1 – R: 13 for 3 more times – 2 for arms and 2 for legs
 

Wings:
 
R: 1 –With C2, Ch 5, join in a circle, ch3, 6 dc in the circle, turn, ch 3 (7dc)
 
R: 2 -1 dc in the same st as the ch3, 2 dc in each dc, turn, ch 3 (14 dc)
 

R: 3 – 2 dc in the next dc, turn, ch3 (28 dc)
 
R: 4 – 1 dc in each dc, turn, ch 1 (28dc)
 

R: 5 – sc in the 1^st sc, *ch3, sk 1 sc, sc in the next sc*
Repeat From * to * across, slst in the last sc, tie off weave in your ends.
 

Halo:
 
With C2, Ch 18, join in a circle, 20 sc around the circle, join to the  1^st sc,
Tie off leaving a 8 inch tail of yarn for sewing onto the angel’s head.

 

 
Step 3 - Assemble The Angel And Hair

Step 3 VIDEO LINK

Stuff the arms and legs only half way full

Sew them closed with the tail of yarn and needle.

Stuff the Angel, Place legs and pin them in place.
Pin the bottom closed.
With C2, and needle,  whip stitch the bottom of the Angel’s Skirt closed, 

and sewing the legs in place.

Sew the arms in place, with matching yarn and needle. lined up on the side, at the neck.

With the needle and matching yarn and gather around the neck of the Angel,
pulling gently, wrap yarn a few times around and tie securely.
 

 
Chain 50, tie a bow around the Angels’ neck.

Angel Wings:

Fold The Wings in half, and line up in the center of the back of the angel.

 With matching yarn and Needle, attach wings at the neck with whip stitches, 

and only sew 2 inches down, attach yarn and weave in in the end.

A  12 inch piece of yarn, wrap around the center o the wings and gently gather. 

Tie a know at the base of the wings and secure.

 

Angel’s Hair:
With Hair Color of choice, and needle stitch some long stitch to look like hair,
As shown in the pic. 

It is up to you how thick you would like your Angels Hair. 

Add Braids by adding 6 strands of yarn about 18 inch long to
each side of the head, and braid the strands. add a yarn bow to the end of each braid.
 
Halo;
Place the halo on The Angels head and sew in place.

Lastly stich on the eyes and mouth with yarn of choice.

Now She really to be cuddled and played with.

Materials:

Crochet hook - H / 5.00 MM

Yarn - Any med (4) I used Acrylic

Decorative Button

Yarn Needle

Stitches:

Chain (ch)

Slip Stitch (slst)

Double Crochet (dc)

Size: 2. 5 X 22.5 Inches

Pattern:

R: 1 - Ch 5, join in a circle, Stitch All of R: 1 in the ch 5 circle -

*ch3, 2dc, ch3*

Repeat From * to * 2 More times,

Ch3, 3 dc, turn, ch 3
(wing, head, wing, body)

R: 2 - 1 dc in the same st as the ch3,

 1 dc in next 2 dc, 2 dc in last dc, turn, ch 1 (6dc)

R: 3 - *ch 3, slst in the next dc*

Repeat From * to * 4 More times, tie off weave in your ends.

Sew button in the center of the Angel, between the wings. 

Add a Hanger if you wish to hang it.

I Came across this crochet pattern the other day,

 when I was looking for Christmas Angel Ornaments.
It is a Free Crochet Pattern By James Lee Kelley.

I love the cute paw print in the dress of the angel.

I decided to make a few to represent my Dogs, 

and hang them on the Christmas tree.

At First the Pattern seemed confusing because 
it does not have Row numbers.
 I just wrote them on the pattern I printed.
That made it a lot easier.
Just take it row by row and you will do just fine.

I did make some of mine 2 colors and some of mine 1 color.
I like both styles.

I did Block Mine to help shape the wings and the dresses.
I pinned them to the blocking board and spritzed some water on them, 
and let them dry on top of Dryer.
I just need to add the hanger and hang them on the Christmas Tree. I really love how mine turned out. And Think I will make some more.

These would make great items to sell 
for a Dog or Pet Fund Raiser.

Materials:

Crochet Hook – H / 5.0MM

Yarn – Worsted Weight (4) I used I Love This Yarn Metallic For White Angels

                                        Caron Simply Soft – Silver Sparkle For Silver Angels

             C1- for Body, halo, Wings and flower, C2- for trim and bows

Yarn Needle
Decorative Christmas Button

Stitches:

Chain (ch)

Slip Stitch (slst)

Single crochet (sc)

Double Crochet (dc)

Skip (sk)

Space (sp)

Change to (chgto)

Size: 7.5 X 5 inches

Notes:

Rounds are joined with a slst.

Ch3 Counts as a Dc

You will need to Make 2 Granny Squares: 1 For Body and 1 for Wings:

R: 1 – With C1, Ch 5, join in a circle, in the circle, ch3, 2 dc, ch1,

*3dc, ch1* Repeat From * to * 2 more times,

Join to top of ch 3, slst to 1^st ch1 sp. (12dc, 4 ch1 sps)

R: 2 – ch3, 2 dc, ch1, 3 dc, ch1 in the 1^st ch1 sp,

*3dc, ch1, 3dc, ch1 in the next ch 1 sp*

Repeat From * to * 2 more times, join to top of ch3, slst to 1^st ch1 sp.

(4 corners)

R: 3 - ch3, 2 dc, ch1, 3 dc, ch1 in the 1^st ch1 sp, 3dc,

Ch1 in the next ch1 sp,

*3dc, ch1, 3dc, ch1 in the next ch1 sp,

3dc, ch1 in the next ch1 sp,*

Repeat From * to * 2 more times, join to top of ch3, slst to 1^st ch2 sp.

(4 corners, 4 sides)

R: 4 –Chgto C2, *ch3, sk 2 sts, slst in the next st*

Repeat From * to * working around all 4 sides of the square,

Join to 1^st slst, tie off. Weave in your ends.

Halo: With C1, Ch 12, join in a circle.

12 sc stitching around the ring, join to 1^st sc, (12 sc)

*1 sc in the 1^st sc, 2 sc in the next sc*

Repeat From * to around, join to 1^st sc. (18sc)

Tie off leaving a 12 inch tail for sewing onto the angel.

Assembling the Angel.

Fold 1 Square in half.

Place the 2nd Square in the 1st square.

Make a Bow - Bow:

With C2, ch 30, tie off both ends and trim.

Use the Bow To  attach the 2 squares together as shown.

attach a fun Christmas button to the front of the bow.

Sew the halo on top of the wings.

Make a hanger.

I made one of these  

 in Pink, the first Mother's Day 

without my mom.

She passed from Breast Cancer.

I Loved this pattern so much,

I wanted to make some

 for my Christmas tree.

So I made some in white sparkle yarn, 

and added a festive Poinsettia button.

I think they turned out classy and  sweet.

I just added a piece of matching 

yarn for the tree hanger.

You will love this pattern.

 It is super easy to stitch up.

And you can make a set of 6 

in about an hour!

They would make a nice gift, too.
