FRIDAY FUN DAY! The Pretty In Pink Cowl Crochet Pattern | Posh Pooch Designs

 FRIDAY FUN DAY!
 The Pretty In Pink Cowl
Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach of  Posh Pooch Designs

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
I decided it was time to up date my Pink Cowl
and film a new video. It was originally written in 2018
and called The DTR Cowl. I didn't like the name.

I renamed it "The Pretty In Pink Cowl"
and used The Redheart Pink Ombre
 in the Jazzy colorway .
I Love it so much more, and I hope you do too.

This cowl can also be worn over your head like a hood.
This is important for covering the head in cool
weather, as well as, in air conditioned places.
I added a simple Satin ribbon to the cowl.

I love the cowl stitched up in pink Ombre,
And the cowl will also look lovely in any colorway.
The Pattern is quick and easy. It makes a nice gift,
for any one going through chemo, cancer or an illness,
as well as, anyone you need a last minute gift for.

Don't feel bad if you want to just stitch one up for
yourself. It's a wonderful accessory for any outfit.

Breast Cancer Awareness Headband And Slouchy Beanie Hat Crochet Pattern | Posh Pooch Designs

Breast Cancer Awareness Headband And Slouchy Beanie Hat
Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach of Posh Pooch Designs

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Every year I try to design a New Crochet Pattern
to bring awareness to Breast Cancer.
I designed This Crochet Pattern in October 2015.
I decided it was time to retest the crochet pattern,
and record a brand new video

I designed the hat in a soft cotton.
Be sure to use a soft yarn like cotton, or acrylic,
if you are making this for a Chemo patient.
This crochet pattern is a step by step Photo Tutorial
to help you with the Cable Stitch section of the hat band.
I set the skill at "intermediate" because the cable sections
can be a little tricky, but it is easy once you practice the
cable stitch pattern a couple of times.

Other yarns that will work for this pattern
are I Love This Cotton, I Love This yarn and simply soft
And Redheart soft. Any medium (4) weight yarn will
 work for this project.

This Crochet Pattern can also be a headband
By leaving off the top part of the Slouchy.

I designed this pattern using pink and white for
Breast Cancer Awareness. It also works for any of the
other ribbon colors, by changing the colors that
 you make it in.

Cancer Awareness Ribbon With Wings Crochet Pattern | Posh Pooch Designs

Cancer Awareness Ribbon With Wings Crochet Pattern
By Sara Sach of  Posh Pooch Designs

As a favor for a Dear Friend I pulled out my Breast Cancer Awareness Ribbon, added some Angel Wings and some
beads and made a Lovely Ornament.
When a tragedy happens, sometime it is hard to know
what to say. Giving someone we care about one of these awareness pins or ornaments let's them know we care.
We are thinking of them and are here if they need us.

It can also be worn as a pin or added to any hat,
 scarf, bag or sweater.

October is Breast Cancer
Awareness Month

But we need to keep aware of all the Cancers that
people are fighting on a daily basis. I do believe that all
of us have been touched by Cancer in some way.
I Don't hate many things, But Cancer is one of the things,
 I do hate.
The beauty of this pattern is that is can be used for
 any of the Awareness Ribbons.

Here is a picture I found on line with many  of the colors
for the awareness ribbons. I am sure there are more.
If you do not see one you are looking for, look on line.
