How To Crochet a Ruffle Scarf

Two of my nieces came with my sister to visit.
They asked me to teach them how to crochet a
Ruffle Scarf with the Lace Ruffle Yarn.

First we Chose our colors,
Then I gave them each a hook
and we got started.
To make a Ruffle scarf all you need
is 1 skein/ Ball of Lace ruffle yarn,
and an I -hook

Tip: To make the Lace Ruffle Yarn easier to
work with, unroll the yarn, then re-roll  the yarn
on a tp tube so the yarn unrolls  flat.

Step 1-
Put your hook in the 2nd hole or loop from the end,
then *skip the next loop, draw up the next loop*
Repeat from *to *  3 more times.
You will have 5 loops on your hook.
Pull the first 4 loops through the last loop,
leaving only 1 loop on your hook.

Step 2-
-*skip the next loop, draw up the next loop*
Repeat from *to *  3 more times.
You will have 5 loops on your hook.
Pull the first 4 loops through the last loop,
leaving only 1 loop on your hook.

Repeat Step 2 until scarf is as long as you want it to be.

Step 3-
Cut the yarn about 3 inches from last stitch,
Pull the end of the yarn through the last loop of the scarf,
and tie a knot. I usually tie it 2 or 3 times,
unless I am making a circle scarf, then I tie the 2 ends together, after the last knot. and trim the ends neatly.

The knots will not be seen as the ruffles will cover the knots.

Only 7 and she did pretty good.

She is 13 and a little bit artist
and a little bit of a perfectionist.
She redid hers till it was exactly
the way she wanted it to be.
Sporting a little bit of accomplished attitude!
They did a great job and
we had so much fun making the scarves.
