I have been working on this scarf for a while.
I am so happy to have it done and  happy to share it with you.

Green Meadows Cable 
Stitch Scarf Crochet Pattern
I really love how it turned out.
I am looking forward to wearing it.
Guess I need a matching hat, though.

Skill- intermediate

Materials -
Hook H / 5.00mm
Yarn -7 oz Worsted Weight (4)
I used  Red Heart Love  - Sage Green

Stitches -
Chain ( ch)
Slip Stitch ( sl st)
Single Crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Front Post Double Crochet (fpdc)
Back Post Double Crochet (bpdc)
Front post Triple Crochet ( fptr)

Gauge 14 sc+16 rows=4
Scarf measures 10 inches wide, and 50 inches long with tassels

Note: ch1 at the end of rows, is a turning ch, 
and does not count as a stitch.

R : 1 - Ch 33, 1 dc in the 2nd ch from the hook,
 and in each stitch across, ch 1 turn
(32dc) Your number of stitches will not change through the project

R : 2 - 1 dc in the next 5 sts, 1 fpdc in the 2 sts, 1dc in the next 2 sts,
 1 fpdc in the next 2 sts, 1 dc in the next 2 sts, 1 fpdc in the next 6 sts, 
1 dc in the next 2 sts, , 1 fpdc in the next 2 sts, 1 dc in the next 2 sts, 
1 fpdc in the 2 sts, 1 dc in the next 5 sts, ch 1 turn

Stitch pattern Explanation : o=dc, l = fpdc

R : 3 -1 dc in the next 5 sts, 1 bpdc in the 2 sts, 1dc in the next 2 sts, 
1 bpdc in the next 2 sts, 1 dc in the next 2 sts, 1 bpdc in the next 6 sts, 
1 dc in the next 2 sts, , 1 bpdc in the next 2 sts, 1 dc in the next 2 sts, 
1 bpdc in the 2 sts, 1 dc in the next 5 sts, ch 1 turn

R : 4 -1 dc in the next 5 sts, 1 fpdc in the 2 sts, 1dc in the next 2 sts, 
1 fpdc in the next 2 sts, 1 dc in the next 2 sts,

skip the next 3 fbdc, fptr in the next 3 sts,

then cross back and fptr in the 3 skipped sts

1 dc in the next 2 sts, , 1 fpdc in the next 2 sts, 1 dc in the next 2 sts, 
1 fpdc in the 2 sts, 1 dc in the next 5 sts, ch 1 turn

R : 5 - Repeat R : 3

R : 6 - Repeat R: 2

R : 7  - Repeat R : 3

R : 8 - Repeat R : 2

R : 9 - Repeat R : 3

R : 10 - Repeat R : 4

R : 11-54  -  Repeat R: 5-R: 10,  9 times,
  I am short and it is plenty long for me,
but if you want it longer, continue to repeat a longer scarf.

R : 55 - Repeat R : 3

R : 56 - Repeat R : 2

R : 57 - Repeat R : 3

R : 58 - Repeat R : 2

R : 59 - Repeat R : 3

R : 60 - 1 dc in each st across, tie off.

Tassels - Cut 32 pieces of yarn 20 inches long, 16 for each end.

Fold the ends of the scarf in, as shown in the photo and
attach the tassels, making sure to go through the 
front and back layers of the scarf.
With another piece of yarn, 20 inches long, tie the tassel securely.
If you want thicker tassels you can double up the amount of tassels.
